So many presents, cant post pics cas I already ate some of them!!

23rd August 2007 - 45 years old and the last things i expected, much less wanted, was a surprise birthday party!! Rod and Rach took me for dinner at the Paradise Seafood Restaurant and while waiting for the waiter to take our orders, I spotted Pammy outside the glass door. Strangely enough, during my afternoon nap on that very same day, I dreamt the whole gang was gonna show up for dinner but thought nothing of it. My dream came true.

I was so very awkward, embarrassed and didnt know what to do. 2 days later, after the shock had faded, I felt so loved and touched. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR ALL THE TIME, MONEY AND EFFORT YOU'VE PUT IN. I certainly didnt deserve it but that's what love is all about. (aw, shucks)

Rachael, Rod, Amy - thank you for arranging everything. Tze Teng - thanks for your thoughtfulness. Sum Keong and Jin Iy, I especially appreciate your effort of even turning up cas I know Sum Keong had a very long day and Jin Iy had to rush off for worship practice. Pammy dear, thanks for cancelling your appointment. Dear Tony, I heard you opened a bottle of wine, thanks, you are generous as usual. Bob & Pearl, I missed the both of you, oooh, the bottle of perfume you gave me looks so grand. (Do I use or display it?) Randy, Jacq – join us next time? The rest of the MAKAN GANG - Joanne & Randolph, Derek, Chong Pun, Peg & Jack, Kelly - my many thanks. This is indeed a special year for me, i still keep looking at the presents I received.
