PEG YUEN & JACK CHIA


Last Friday, our dear friends, Peg & Jack gave us a treat. Dinner at Sassarossa, Lorong Yap Kwan Seng. No occasion, just being generous as usual. The ambience of the restaurant was beautiful, homey and spacious but i wont go into details here cas I forgot to take pics and also this post is an appreciation of Peg & Jack - not food.

We met this couple at our night cell about more than 4 years ago. And we have been so blessed. Peg has taught me facilitation skills, mind mapping, parenting, communication, de-briefing, and even conflict resolution. She has also been my confidante whenever I needed a sounding board for advise/critique. Jack, has shown me the result of a man who is willing to be vulnerable and real yet always mindful of the need for transformation. My friends and I have come to trust Jack for this very reason. I have always introduced all my friends interested to meet fellow Christians to them, because to me, they represent a balanced life. In so far, I have introduced them to Maysie & Chong Pun, Jacq & Randy, plus Kelly & Tony. My other friends Derek and Simon have also bonded very well with Jack and it is amasing how everyone is totally relaxed with this couple.


Well, we were feeling so relaxed we had drinks by the bar before they arrived!

Notice the oversized wine glasses? They cost RM150 per piece! Oh, and Tony's pouring Peg's Mum's homemade apple cider. Potent!


We had such a good time, just relaxing that I couldnt be bothered to take many pics. Peg, Jack, thank you so much. Rod and I, and I am certain, all those friends mentioned, so appreciate you! You have both touched and enriched our lives.
