Since Amy mentioned the word SUPERSTAR, here are some pics I stole of my young friend.
Bernard Hiew Vun Poh breezed into our lives sometime in mid september 2006. I viewed this young man with a little suspicion, (what to do, paranoid mah) but he was so full of life, fun and open that none of us could resist him for very long. Everytime he turns up be it at our home, a party or even a semi-formal dinner he brings with him a smile and excitement that is infectious. Bernard, I thank God for bringing you into our lives.
My first encounter with Bernard was on a large screen at the EO6 conference conducting an interview. Hmmm, most impressive, i thought this young man must be a professional VJ. Then I saw him on stage and . . . . . . .
Imagine my thoughts when he turned up at my door step. I remember Rod introducing Bernard to Adrian as Superman cas Adrian has always been an avid fan of Superman. An immediate bonding took place.
Bernard : Are you Superman?
Adrian : YES!
Bernard : I am Superman. But sshhh, it's our secret.
Two weeks later Rach's friend Daniel dropped by (his 1st and last visit), poor boy was so uncomfortable.
Adrian : Are you superman?
Daniel : No?
Adrian : I am Superman. Sshhhhh
Daniel : (expression on his face was priceless)
Amazing thing is I liked Bernard immediately. Bernard is now a dear friend who will always have a special place in my heart. (dear, this has NOTHING to do with the dinner you bought)
